Designed to carry small heavyweight objects with full security and confidence, this 300kg SWL bag has a double Velcro Flap fastening system along the top to provide weather resistance and load security in sensitive environments.
The polyester lifting sling, complying to EN1492-1, is secured in a 'basket hitch' through the fabric of the bag to provide industrial grade strength whilst supporting the load appropriately for formal lifting purposes.
The PafBag Ring-Sling system allows the Lifting Sling to stretch and take the strain without damaging the bag, whilst it greatly increases excellent side wall strength across the seams when lifting heavy loads.
A 5mm thick, HDPE base plate inside the bag directs the forces onto the lifting sling whilst protecting the bag and sling from sharp contents. The two main twin-skinned walls are stiffened with full width, 3mm thick plastic sheets to add further protection and maintain the bag's shape when loading and lifting. These plastic sheets are removable to adjust the characteristics of the bag and allow compact stowage when empty.
The two handles at each end wall enable the bag to be guided around obstacles, lifted over guard rails, and then carried by one or two persons along gantries and through doorways.
In addition to the 5mm thick internal base plate, a 5mm thick, tough HDPE external tray is bolted to the underside of the bag to provide excellent wear resistance for heavy usage in tough environments.
This bag is supplied here in black or orange colour (other colours are available). The Orange bags also have High Visibility Reflective Strips.
There are two Lifting Point options for this bag, which can be selected above.
Delta Rings rated at 2750Kg Breaking Load each provide easily identifiable lifting points.
Lifting-Point wear-sleeves. Tubular webbing installed around the slings at the lifting point as expected in formal lifts.
